Summer Refresh – Family Camp

Summer Refresh – Family Camp

The best ‘kickstart’ for your heart as you walk into the New Year.

We all know how it feels to “just survive” the crazyness of the Christmas season only to realise that the new year is upon you. We have found for us the best way to jump into the New Year is by jumping into God’s word. Summer refresh is a family camp with a kids program and afternoon activities. Let you spirit be refreshed and your heart re-aligned by solid teaching, friendly community and beautiful surroundings. We are committed to bringing in speakers from around Australia who through the Lord will deepen your understanding of God’s word and your personal relationship with Jesus Christ.

Don’t miss out on the chance to be refreshed in Christ as a family.

Jason Perkins

Through years of leadership, Jason has experienced some of the highest highs and some of the lowest lows. Jason and his wife Kristin started their life together as missionaries and they welcomed their three amazing kids into the world, Xavier, Olivia and Miles. They’ve always taken each new opportunity on mission, together, as a family.
Jason spent many years invested as a camp director for Word of Life in the summer, and then during the school year excelled in business marketing and sales. Jason’s whole life has been a call into ministry whether that was through a vocational job or a volunteer role. In 2015, Jason accepted a lead pastor position at a North Point Strategic partner church in Colorado Springs where after years of growth in attendance, engagement, and giving he came face to face with burn out. It was in this season that Jason realized the importance of soul care, and how it doesn’t have to mean sacrificing your strategy or success.
Now Jason and his wife Kristin, along with their three kids, are living in Brisbane, Australia where Jason is the Network Director for the Australian Irresistible Churches
Network. Jason is passionate about helping leaders and teams reach their strategic goals without losing their souls and spends his time outside of the Irresistible Churches Network offering coaching and consulting services to ministry leaders and their staff.

Adam 2

Adam Ismail

Not growing up in a Christian home, Adam came to faith as a teenager at a Christian camping ministry. Although this may have been the occasion where Adam received Jesus as his Saviour it wasn’t until many year later that he came to a “much more” fuller understanding of what this actually meant. Adam has been involved in a variety of ministries including Youth groups, Prison Ministry, Church leadership and came on board as Director of Capernwray Australia in September last year.  Whether it’s at his home church, amongst his family and friends or at his workplace, he loves sharing in word and deed The Life that Jesus came to give and for all His creation to enjoy

Callum Thomas

Passionate about Jesus, young people and great coffee, Callum, his wife Jazlyn and 2 young daughters live in NSW, serving as the Principal at Capernwray Australia and as the Director for TeenStreet Australia.

Callum’s heart is for opening the word of God with the next generation and inviting them into a personal relationship with Jesus Himself. He loves seeing young people discover the reality of the indwelling Lord Jesus, who can then go, live and share Him in their own lives. It is only Christ who brings life and Callum serves so that every young person everywhere has the opportunity to know this life that changes their present and eternal experience.
