Update – 14 May 2021
Visitors are welcome on site but we ask that you please sign in using the QR code located at the Office or Conference Hall on your arrival. This is a government requirement.
Unfortunately the Australian borders are currently closed to all internationals (except New Zealand) and we do not have any clear indication on when they will re open. The government recently indicated that our borders may not open fully until mid 2022. They will not open our borders until the majority of our adult population has been vaccinated (they are expecting this will be complete by the end of this year). They may consider opening to countries who like us have the virus under control or giving exemptions to certain visa holders in early 2022 and we pray that we may be able to get our students in under these circumstances.
When the borders do open it is likely that everyone entering the country will need to be vaccinated and they are still in discussions as to weather arrivals will need to quarantine or not. We will continue to keep you informed on any developments in this area. Please see below for information on specific courses.
We are still planning on running all our 2021 course starting with our BDM 1 course which commenced on 31st January. We currently have 7 students committed to attending the full 20 weeks. This course is also open for anyone who would like to attend just one or two weeks or as many weeks as you can. More details can be found under the Bible School tab.
Our BDM 2 course is due to start on September 18th and run for 12 weeks. We had hoped that our borders may have opened in October to allow international students to join us for part of this course however after a recent announcement from our government we now do not believe this will happen. (If you are an international student who has applied for this course our registrar will be in contact with you to organise refunds). We are still accepting Australian applications.
BDM 1 – We are accepting both international and Australian applications for BDM 1 with the hope that our borders will be opened in some capacity. If we are unable to accept international students due to border closures full refunds will be given on any course fees paid.
Applications are open to all students (Internationals and Australian’s) for all other 2022 courses.
With such a small number of students we are looking to hire out one of our buildings for overnight stays. If you are in need of accommodation in the Highlands please contact the office for more information.
As is the case with many ministries like ours, this pandemic has put significant pressure on the finances for Capernwray Australia.
We would love to invite you to partner with us financially as we continue to serve the Lord and His work in Bible, Discipleship and Mission. If you would like to make a donation to us please contact the office at [email protected] or visit our donation page.
Thank you for your prayer and support at this time.
